Kidcare

The Federal Government has developed a program to help insure children and pregnant moms nationwide, who qualify financially. The program is called "Kidcare" in Illinois and goes by other names in each state.

Kidcare covers pregnant moms and children who qualify financially. Coverage ranges from free health insurance for the pregnancy and continued health insurance for child indefinitely (till age 18), to a rebate program, which provides cash to families to help keep children on the group policy at Mom or DadŐs place of work.
