Like any large employer, Colleges and Universities know the value of fully protecting their most valuable resource: their workforce and student populations. Statistics show that fully insured individuals seek medical care much sooner and consequently are able to more easily remedy medical issues. This prevents loss of work/class time, and potential extended loss of revenue/tuition for more serious conditions.

The Benefit Source can design a benefit package to fit the needs of your student population or workforce. We offer PPO and HMO plans (where networks are available) and traditional plans. We can work with your campus medical facility to contract their office as a primary care center. This arrangement can feed funds back to your institution in the form of prepaid captition. A variety of other reimbursement schedules are also available.

The Benefit Source, Inc. recommends a hard waiver for undergrads, insuring either coverage as a dependent on thier parent's plan, or a mandatory school policy. This protects both institution and student alike. Graduate students, or students over the age of 22 are often vulnerable as many parent's policies only insure full time students to the age of 22.
